Payment Terms

Goods sold online are pre-paid prior to despatch.
Approved Trading accounts are strictly nett 30 days, and 7 days for labour performed , unless otherwise arranged with Marfar Management.
Trading accounts are to be paid by Direct Debit or Cheque.
Credit Card payments are subject to 2%, bank credit fees.

Title of Goods

In the case of approved trading account, goods will remain the property of Schols Investments Trading as Marfar Sewing Parts & Accessories, until such time that the goods involved have been paid for in full.

 

Debt Recovery:

In the case of a collection agency having to be appointed, all fees and charges are to be worn by the purchaser/ customer.

 

Special Orders

We reserve the right to ask for a 50% deposit for special items put on back-order.
Most back-orders (under normal circumstances) are due in our warehouse within 2-3 weeks, from the date of us ordering, depending on our overseas suppliers, and freight companies.
Once a special order has been placed with our supplier, cancellation is not possible. (in most cases)

Returns Policy

We do not want customers to purchase goods that are not suitable for them or their machinery, and therefore have a fairly relaxed returns policy. (Because, we want you to come back)
Machinery, parts and accessories sold are subject to the Manufacturer’s Warranty. Where this is not the case, we usually stand by what we sell. (yes, Because, we want you to come back) 😊
Goods may be returned for refund or exchange ** within 7 days with prior agreement from one of our staff, or agents.

** Folders & Binders:

We too, as most suppliers and wholesalers in the textile industry, we also will not accept Folders or Binders back for credit after 24 hours of receipt of the item, unless faulty.
It is the customers responsibility to make sure the item is suitable for the job at hand. We are able to give advice, where possible.

Despatching of goods

Our policy is to ship all orders that have been received by 1:30PM, within the same day.
All goods are shipped via Australia Post Express Post service, and are (in most Australian Capital Cities) delivered the next day. (dependant on AUSPOST)
We will take all care to make sure that our parcels are packed in a safe manor to withstand the elements of transportation, however we do not provide insurance for goods in transit, unless requested by you (the customer) prior to despatch. We can quote for this prior to sending.
